Byron Bay Beer launches its new brewery! Byron Bay has long been one of Australia's premier tourist destinations- with surf and sun and now it has just got even better with the launch of their new brewery, which locals can now call "their own"!

THE MANY FEATURES OF THE BYRON BAY PREMIUM BREWERY
The new Byron Bay Premium Brewery, based in the heart of Byron Bay, isn't just a brewery though...it has a stunning restaurant, a beer garden tailor made for sipping fresh beer and an entertainment area where some of Australia's leading musicians will be performing live. The Buddha Bar and Restaurant has a family friendly bistro with facilities for children and kid's menu.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BYRON BAY PREMIUM BREWERY
The venue, originally known as The Piggery and then as the Buddha Bar/ Restaurant, was established in the early 1980's, with rock concerts, long hair and hippies and has recently gone under the knife and the refurbishment is simply breathtaking.

Locals now mingle with artists, celebrities and pop stars at this stunning new venue, which played host to the official after party for the recent Splendour in the Grass festival.

"The Brewery has been a long time in the making, but finally we have a brewery which the locals of Byron Bay can call their own." said Peter Jamieson, General Manager of Byron Bay Brewery.

"The new brewery has everything to attract young backpackers, trendy tourists, all local residents, and millionaires. I think Byron Bay is the best spot in the world and I couldn't be prouder of this state of the art brewery that you can enjoy whether you sit in the restaurant or stand at the bar....The beer will literally be brewed on site and you won't get a fresher beer anywhere else in the world!" Mr Jamieson concluded.
