Mezzalira Overview

Political beliefs aside, Mezzalira is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants in Canberra. Depending on the weather, you can choose to dine al fresco or inside in their cosy dining room which features floor to ceiling glass windows. A good way to start might be with pepper crusted ocean trout crudo with shaved fennel, baby caper & citrus salad & grissini. Mains might include slow cooked lamb 'stracotto' in chianti with celeriac puree, tomato, olive & basil. Desserts are artfully plated and include the much loved trio of house made gelati and sorbetti. In the heart of our nation’s capital, Mezzalira could care less about your politics though they’ll definitely sway your vote their way when it comes to fine Italian cuisine.

PRIVATE DINING ROOM
Their private dining room is located discreetly towards the rear of the dining area and seats up to a maximum of 12 people. There is no minimum charge for the room; however, they do not allow BYO inside the private dining room, and their chefs are able to prepare a fixed price menu or tasting menu to suit your requirements upon request.
