The Grog Shed

Established in 1991, the Back Wombat Road venue encompasses two acres of beautiful privately owned gardens and orchards bursting with sugar plum, peach and cherry trees. ‘Pick your own fruit’ sessions make for a perfect family day out while the venue’s shady trees provide the ideal backdrop for a BYO picnic in a luscious garden setting. Browse through a range of home-made no preservative jams, sauces, chutneys or sample a range of liqueurs including the Wombat Whoppa, a walnut rum liquor made from a 400-year-old French recipe. Don’t forget to also sample The Grog Shed’s signature cherry wine, a rich full bodied drop perfect for cooking or mixed with soda water for a refreshing drink.
