Just had the most amazing lunch at the fish house. Risotto was beautiful. Good wine selection. Really impressed.
Wonderful ambience, (even a Tuesday night) the atmosphere, lighting, fresh sea breeze and moonlit night, this weaves a delightful tapestry. Each dish dances across the tongue, an enjoyable palate of textures and colours is produced to perfection. A very suited wine list including favoured white burgundies and Sancerres enhances the experience. Highly recommended.
Most amazing night food to die for service excellent
Everything is just perfect and consistently so. I've been there 4 times and it is easily the best seafood I've ever had in my life. And I get around and have been around.
True foodies will LOVE this place. Definitely NOTHING like your typical G.C restaurant.

from the moment we stepped through the door they looked after us like old friends. The fish was fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was attentive without being off putting. I love having the communal accompaniments to the meal, fresh veg, green salad, and the surprising baked potatoes: what an understatement; thinly sliced potatoes cooked in a stock and served in a lovely brick shape after being baked in the oven- Devine. For the great ambience , service and food it's very good value.

The Fish House is exactly what the Gold Coast needs to put its dining scene on the radar to the rest of Australia! Thank you Simon for opening another amazing restaurant for us locals and giving us something to brag about. Even hardcore foodies from Melbourne and Sydney will enjoy this restaurant

It’s not just the panoramic beachfront view that has The Fish House reeling diners to Burleigh Heads. In this new venture, Simon Gloftis (who also owns the hugely successful Hellenika in Nobby Beach) is redefining the local seafood restaurant genre with understated style, a perfectly pitched buzz, and top grade seafood seldom seen on the Gold Coast – it’s all flown in fresh from Melbourne, daily. The menu varies in line with what’s available, so anticipate a diverse selection including whole and fillet fish – perhaps swordfish fillet simply baked with olive oil, lemon, mustard and caper berries. For dessert, the smoked ice cream is a must.
