Opus isn’t just a café; it’s a gathering place that celebrates the artistry of coffee and the joy of connection; settle in with a brew of choice and a gourmet bagel stuffed with smoked salmon, ginger, turmeric, compressed mandarin, chervil and herb cream cheese. Perhaps a fried chicken house-baked ciabatta roll hits the mark with lemon pepper ranch, lettuce, cheese and pickles.

The Offering
Opus Coffee Brewers offers a considered short menu of baked goods handmade in house fresh every morning we just think everything should be that way. Legit everything in our cabinet has been baked on site. You'll find hand rolled sesame bagels, salted cookies, loaded muffs and more.
Along with lox, pastrami and the odd schmear bagel and a tartine (toast + toppings) brunchfast offering.
The coffee
Offering up Single O out of Surry Hills on house with rotating guest roasters in every month on black / filter. You'll always find a hot fresh filter ON TAP.
The bagel process
Bagels are fresh daily.
Lights go on at 4:30ish o'clock every morning. Bagels are cut, weighed and balled up for their first proof. Then we roll them into that classic / necessary bagel ‘O' shape and let it do its final proof. Once they get to the right size we boil them in sweet water for a few minutes to get their distinct chewy texture.
From there we toss them in either sesame, our everything mix or just leave them plain and bake.
We roll anywhere from 90 - 140 bagels a day selling out most days.
