Recommended Near Viking Ski Lodge
A great place to stay - on the snow & very helpful & accessible. A great place for families to stay. We went at the end of the season &it was still great. Good value for money...I probably shouldn't rave as there may not be a place for us next time. People get along and there is an atmosphere of sharing and fun. Facilities (Kitchen) is shared but this wasn't a problem. Our kids (7 and twin 5's - boys) had fun with other kids in the shared lounge/dining area but we could still retreat to our own rooms to sleep. Thanks to the staff - kept it clean & were available to help. Only issue (if you are a TV addict) is that there is only a small room with a TV...difficult to share but you can take portable DVD or laptop to amuse small children...but you are really there for skiing not to vege in front of the box!
