Kara Kara Estate is a picturesque family operated Winery, Restaurant & Café, only a short drive to Kara Kara near St Arnaud, nestled in the magical splendour of the Pyrenees Wine Region of Victoria.
Kara Kara Estate was named after an aboriginal term meaning "Gold Quartz" and is recognised as one of the region's finest producers of single vineyard varietals. Established in 1977, the owners have turned this stoney ‘terroir' into liquid gold. Savour the exemplary flavours of their Gold medal wines which are accompanied by a mouth-watering morning/afternoon tea or lunch, served in the delightful garden & veranda areas, on weekends.
Kara Kara Estate is the perfect place to spend a lazy day with family and friends, sipping on sumptuous wines, indulging in one of their fabulous cheese platters whilst overlooking the magnificent views- it is truly ‘food for the soul' and well worth the short drive!

Stroll down to the cellar door café, renowned for its tasty ‘winemakers platter' and sumptuous selection of homemade condiments, olives, chutneys, pasts and cheeses to tantalise your taste buds! The variety of delicious dishes have been carefully selected and prepared to complement the wines.
The eight hectare vineyard is dry grown, which leads to a limited production of the finest parcels of fruit. Yields are low, contributing to wines of increased flavour and structure. All vines are hand pruned and harvested, and fruit is 100% estate grown, thus yielding single source wines.
