About Noosa National Park

Occupying the headland at Noosa, the National Park encompasses a dramatic rocky coastline dotted with sheltered beaches and coves. A series of tracks through the National Park offer visitors a chance to explore tranquil rainforest, open forest, wallum headlands, scrubland and grass lands.

The park entrance is located at the end of park road a short distance from Noosa town centre.Wheelchair accessible car parking is available for permit holders and close by are picnic areas with lots of shade cover and an accessible Information Centre.

The park has accessible pathways at the entrance with scenic views across picturesque Laguna Bay. If you enjoy photography this is a 'must do' on your itinary!

There are lots of native Australian birds, bush turkeys and goannas to observe, and if you look carefully, you may also see a koala in one of the many Australian gum trees.

A new paved (cement) track has recently been opened between Tea Tree Bay and Dolphin Point. It is fully wheelchair accessible and takes about 20 - 30 minutes to complete at a comfortable pace.

There are also numerous other walking tracks, with varying degrees of difficulty. The easiest walk is the 1 kilometre Palm Grove Circuit, although this is not wheelchair accessible.
