Take advantage of the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy it at Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival. This is a not for profit event that is raising money for Children’s Charity, even more reason to get amongst it! You’re guaranteed not to go hungry, whether you’re a seafood lover or not, with 25 food outlets you won't go hungry. The Entertainment line up will keep you running between the 3 stages and has 40 artists! The 6 lucky winners will get 2 general admission passes each to enjoy the day!
Visit the 25 food outlets and enjoy dishes such as Sand Crab and New Zealand Whitebait Fritter, Thai Caramelised Prawns and more fresh seafood dishes at this year's Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival on May 2nd 2010. If seafood isn't your thing, don't worry there are plenty of other stalls for you to enjoy, so you don't have to miss out. Gather a group and book a table at your favourite jaunt including Gambaros, Mirasoul and Bohemia Bar. Or, if cruising around is more your thing, enjoy the many food and drink stalls to pick from at your leisure.
This year’s entertainment schedule will keep you busy, running between the three stages and 10 venues to catch your favourite act. A total of 40 artists are performing this year and include Mental as anything, Afrodiza and The Belligerents. Whatever style of music you prefer the line up is bound to have something to get you going.
For all your refreshment needs Sirromet will look after you. This year they present an innovative new product for you to enjoy on the day; Pinot Gris & 2008 Shiraz in PET bottles, making the streets of Brisbane cleaner & safer with plastic packaging but with the same taste & quality.
