    Our team of chefs teach in a simple, approachable way, enabling you to create delicious dishes that you are invited to enjoy at the end of the class, with a refreshing glass of wine. Every class is highly informative, hands-on and limited to a maximum of 12 people. At the end of the lesson you’ll not only have learnt some exciting new skills, you’ll also receive the chef’s secret recipes, cooking notes and a signature Tamarind Apron to take home.

The Tamarind Restaurant Overview

Set in lush rainforest near Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the award-winning Tamarind Restaurant offers stylish mod Oz dining infused with contemporary Asian twists. Executive Chef Daniel Jarrett is the force behind this restaurant, where an elegant open timber pavilion design allows guests to soak up the region’s stunning natural surrounds. Composed of a la carte, degustation and banquet options, Tamarind’s ever-changing menu excites with Asian flavours and techniques combined with effortless style and innovation. Expect a fiery Thai red curry of grilled beef with snake beans, roasted shallots, pineapple and Thai basil, or enjoy delicate confit salmon with ponzu, pickled ginger miso, quinoa, furikake and wakame.

Each intimate class of up to 12 includes 5 recipes plus lunch, wine, Tamarind Cooking School apron, and full recipes.
