Operating from a New Farm establishment for over a decade, The Smoke BBQ smokehouse continues to draw crowds from across Brisbane in search of mouth-watering flavours. Inside offers a smart casual dining space, with walls of sunset orange adorned in photography and colourful New Orleans posters. Find a tempting menu specialising in succulent meats, all of which are slow smoked in house over hand cut hickory wood in a wood smoker imported from America, alongside tasty house made sauces. Begin by diving headfirst into a serve of crispy Buffalo wings loaded with classic sauce and served with a blue cheese dressing and celery twigs, before North Carolina style cider vinegar pulled pork, dry rubbed and hickory smoked for ten hours for a slightly spicy tang and served with St Louis BBQ sauce.

Woof! Ribs and wings of exceptional quality. Gluttony never tasted so good.
The Smoke is an absolute favourite restaurant of ours. It's a favourite of many. If you're looking to go you need to book! They seem to book in 2 separate sittings and they always fill up. Even Sunday night as we found recently. The Buffalo Chicken Wings are as good as you get from the USA or Canada. And the Texas Beef Rib is to die for. As a sign of authenticity, they even serve you cornbread. The serving sizes are large. So unless you're a big eater the half rib is enough. We've even had a dessert there a few times. Which is awesome. But good luck fitting it all in without prior planning of the visit. We walk in, and roll out as very happy men. That's why this place was worthy of getting a review!
