About Publishers Hotel
Publishers Hotel effortlessly combines panache and excellent Modern Australian food in Franklin Street, Adelaide. The establishment’s name and rustic original walls pay homage to the building’s former life as a printing company, while recent renovations give it an industrial facelift. Executive chef Daniel Brooks has created a menu showcasing elegant and honest food that cleverly combines classic dishes with modern techniques and flavours including native Australian ingredients. Try the charcoal king prawns or the venison carpaccio with pomegranate and finger lime to start with, before moving to the roasted lamb rack with crumbed terrine, saltbush and celeriac puree. Publishers Hotel also smoke their own meats, so don’t leave without trying their smoked oysters and assortment of meats.

A surprise
Attended a Melbourne cup day function there yesterday.....the food was delicious....and cooked by the chef who obviously is passionate about his food... the service by the staff was incredible so attentive without interrupting conversations.....and very friendly. .... such a surprise. .. a must visit ......you won't be disappointed
Last night I was fortunate to eat at the restaurant of the Publishers Hotel. What a fabulous diverse menu! I have eaten in restaurants around the world and could not fault the food and service. The Pork Belly was a stand out as was my partners 2 entrees, Quail and Steak tartare. I even rated the 16hour Pork Belly better than that of Matt Morans ARIA restaurant. The ambience was subtle and lovely, the service was professional and friendly. Congratulations to the head chef Daniel whose creative talents meant we enjoyed intense balanced flavours. The Publishers Hotel is a must for all foodies and comes highly recommended.
Fantastic steak and vegetarian tart. Found a gem of wine at a great price the Howard Shiraz. Get the staff to open up on arrival. We will be back
My favourite place in Adelaide. Great food, great wine list, outstanding staff and a really great atmosphere. Whether you want just a few casual drinks or a gourmet dinner, this place has it all.
Awesome ambience in the renovated old publishing rooms, great food, super friendly staff and very good value, we've eaten there twice now and love it!!
