Surprise in Strathalbyn
On a sunny but brisk winter Saturday we drove to lunch at the Olfactory Inn. The rustic, charming cottage was quiet at 12.30 and we were shown to a small, warm dining room with an open fire. The service dispensed by Lauren was fantastic. The food was absolutely wonderful. From the oysters through the "carp larp" to the mulloway and the duck it was a gastronomic delight. We will be back and will tell everyone that the pretty drive there is only the beginning of a fabulous experience.
