Had lunch at Mandy's on the weekend and it was just beautiful. We had a party of 10 and ordered a variety of things from the menu - not a single complaint from anyone at the table. Beautiful setting, lovely waitstaff, delicious food. Yum! We will definitely be going back.
Finally a decent dining establishment in our local area!
Can highly recommend Mandy's on the Mountain @ the Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge. We had dinner there recently and the food was excellent. By no means a big menu (good), but what is offered is a great choice of interesting delights that would suit most tastes. Wine list could be a little more extensive and interesting but what is offered is quite satisfactory.
The views from the restaurant over the greater Brisbane metro area are excellent.
The decor is new and stylish.
The service is good - maybe some subtle training for the new young wait staff on the finer service details probably being required considering it aims at the mid to upper end of the price market.
Overall, very good experience and we look forward to our next visit in the near future!
