Quick service and filling for cheap
Great variety, prompt service. A place to go for delicious and cheap food but don’t expect ambience.

Best dumplings in Town

Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced, but the service was absolutely awful where anyone who knows even the slightest about customer service would be left mortified. A girlfriend and I when to Chinatown to find a nice place to eat and this place had really good prices, so we decided on this place. Inside, we were disappointed at the decor but considering the number of people in there, we stayed. We were handed a ticket with 43B and told to go upstairs. We were seated at a 4 seated table with a couple and next to 2 seat table that was occupied. The menus were tossed on the table and mine was missing half of the pages, we had to flag down the waiter to take our order and our main meals came before the dumplings, fried rice and drinks. We were fine with those things but half through our meal, with both couples either side of us leaving, we were asked to move tables because the table we were sitting at was suddenly reserved. Before we had a moment to process what the waitress had said, she started to move our places, we had to ask for her to wipe down the table. No sooner had we moved that they started seating a group of others. Then they put another chair at the table which the waitress put on my bag and kept wiggling it until she kicked my bag out of her way. We quickly finished our drinks and left to pay, which after that, I still don't think we should have. We handed the cashier the ticket number and she basically called us liars and thieves for not having that ticket number as the new people had taken that number. We told her we were told to move and she still didn't believe it so we had to tell her what we ordered. We were absolutely furious at the service. And the entire time this happened tables 35 and 36, which were both 4 seaters across the aisle from us were empty. Furthermore, the menu was limited in pork, seafood and duck dishes, which are the ones I love from Chinese restaurants, the alcohol was lacking and almost everyone pulled beer from pla

Terrible food, dumplings were covered in oil and the batter was too thick, you could tell they were pre-cooked. The tea was cold and weak. Very cheap though so...

Great food, awesome dumplings, relaxed laid back environment, good value for money. A regular on my list of city eats.
