Inspired by a trip to Sweden, Scoffle Waffle brings delicious Scandinavian waffles to the heart of Melbourne. After discovering this foodie city had plenty of pancakes and crepes but not waffles, this eatery began as a pop-up shop at a market – less than 12 months later it moved into a storefront, all during a pandemic. You can mix and match your favourite waffles with Japanese appetisers, poke bowls, bento boxes, sushi tacos and also grab a drink from the fully stocked bar; think all-day choices like smoked salmon, dill mousse and Merlot salt, in a Scoffle Waffle cradle. Go sweet with strawberry cheesecake, freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate Tim Tams; or perhaps flash-fried squid with Takoyaki and three-cheese sauce takes your fancy – waffle you try next?
