Light Years Burleigh Heads

A little disappointed
We have been trying to clear our schedule to come here since it opened and managed to book an early sitting. We were greeted by management who seemed a little put out and barely grunted his communication with us to follow him inside. The restaurant was almost empty, yet we were sat tucked away from any views of the street. There was a wait for a drinks order and the menu was not explained. The food was enjoyable but I would not rush back based on the service. As we left it was obvious that the diners that arrived for later sittings were given a superior service by additional wait staff.

Such a vibe!
Such tasty Asian! The cocktails are a stand out! It’s a cool place for friends or if you are on a date. Has a fun vibe. The crispy cauliflower is my fav! I highly recommend this place! Great for the coast!

Refreshing
We had a great night, amazing food and good vibes especially the staff - efficient yet totally chilled. Everything came out timely but the only negative is due to the fact that it was full of patrons (great for the restaurant) but not for the patron is that the noise level was loud, we had to talk very loudly. Once the night progressed and people had left it was fine. Will definitely come back as there were plenty of other things we didn't get to try.

Best Asian I have had in a while
I grew up in Hong Kong so I know good Asian food - Light Years certainly impressed! Every dish was a stand out - edamame, crab dumplings with dill, crispy prawns, incredible ceviche (one of the best I have ever had). Cannot wait to come back!

Amazing Night !!!
We have such a fun night of 6 and we tried a lot of dishes and they were all standouts !! The chicken BAO WAS AMAZING !!! The duck pancakes were wow, the prawns delicious, the beef curry was so tender with the curry sauce was spot on for my taste plus loads more. The music was good but a touch loud. Great venue guys keep up the good work.
