With humble beginnings as a small catering company, SaltPepperNutmeg is now a full service café in Roseville. Located right on the Pacific Highway, SaltPepperNutmeg offers a European-style menu with a focus on fresh and local ingredients, particularly hand-caught fish. Expect to see house-cured trout salads alongside heart-warmers such as the fettucine with rich beef ragu or the soft polenta with braised rosemary, orange and sherry chicken thigh fillets. For something lighter however, try the caramelised onion, cheese and roasted tomato puff pastry tarts. Desserts may occasionally steer towards Asian territory with delights such as the chai panna cotta, jackfruit, coconut and blood orange.
