Fantastic cosy night on the Peninsula
Nestled nicely in the restaurant on a cold Spring evening, easily mistaken for Winter, we were treated to a top class feast. The pea and truffle soup was divine as an hors-d'oeuvre, folllowed by a refreshing snapper ceviche. The lamb for the main was cooked to perfection and the chocolate tart was the perfect conclusion to a lovely night. The live music was sensational as we were treated to some classics, notably from Amy Winehouse. The wine list with the maps of Burgundy hanging of the wall is quite impressive and very reasonably priced. Strongly recommended all around. Will be back!

Italian Dinner better than most in Melbourne
An excellent antipasto of fritto misto, shelled prawns, pea & ham frittata, sliced meats, very tasty beef carpaccio & calzone. Followed by roasted salmon, calamari, braised chicken legs with Red Hill truffles & baked pumpkin semolina. Side dishes of mac 'n' cheese & a roquette salad. For dessert a classic tiramisu & dolce gorgonzola with truffled honey. I have missed a few dishes. There was a mountain of delicious food, cooked properly & served in an enticing fashion. Great live unobtrusive music made for a relaxing very good value dinner. I will be at the next dinner on Saturday 15th September for the start of spring.
