Perhaps opt for the From the Land: Around the World degustation menu and start with venison pie and braised pork belly, before gorgonzola-filled ravioli, walnuts and chocolate; Angus eye fillet with chimichurri sauce satisfies the inner carnivore, while sweet-tooths indulge in classic crème brulée to finish.

A wonderful place to Pause
From the serene alfresco venue in beautiful Samford Village, attentive service to the wonderful culinary experience Pause is a long awaited addition to the north Brisbane food scene. The food is as fresh as you can get it. The oysters are worth the drive and the calamari is a delight with a sauce to surprise your taste buds. The mains are the perfect size filled with flavour. The Snapper is fresh and the Spatchcock is wonderful. We had to have desert as we were loving the experience so much. They are sweet enough but light and fresh fit for our hot qld evenings. I love this place. We have been back 3 times already! A real tribute to the owners Greg and Isabelle and the chef Rino for creating this experience so far from the city.
