If five times the deliciousness sounds appealing to you, you’ll want to check out Oishii Go (Japanese for ‘delicious five’) in Falls Creek. It only opens June to September but Oishii Go makes the most of it with a fun, festive atmosphere highlighted by brightly coloured paper lanterns and Perspex stools, an open fire and live entertainment. Prepared by chefs all the way from Hong Kong, the modern Asian menu is just as colourful. Start off with crispy tempura soft shell crab with wasabi dressing, perhaps, before continuing with salt and pepper pork with chilli and coriander, or a richly spiced red Thai prawn curry. Oishii Go also offers special meals for ‘little ninjas’, noodle boxes for takeaway, and an eclectic range of cocktails, sakes and other drinks to see you through until late.
