Named after Hong Kong’s popular newspaper, Apple Daily Bar & Eating House fuses East meets West in a brand new light. Plastered with printed newspaper and adorned with Chinese script, the style of this smartly set restaurant borders between moody and modern, so why not take a seat and settle in. Designed by Apple Daily’s Head Chef Ivan Blackwell, the South East Asian street style menu is crafted with sharing in mind, featuring small bites like crispy soft shell crab, as well as saltwater duck with spring onion, flower bun and hoisin. Larger share plates may include green curry of shark bay prawns, sweet potato and snow peas or perhaps Korean style BBQ pork shoulder, partnered with a list of exclusive WA craft beer and wines and finishing with a delectably exotic dessert.
