Eden Restaurant & Bar

We came in on Saturday night, and enjoyed a wonderful dining experience. Katy looked after us and she was very accommodating. The perfect combination of attentive yet inobtrusive is how we were served. Our glasses were kept topped up, and meals arrived promptly. We decided to try your two-course set menu, and found it excellent value. Entrees were the salmon and the fish cakes. Both were exceptional. My fish cakes were delightfully spicy and not overdone, and the nam jim and artfully prepared Asian salad was a treat, certainly a cut above the bland sald that accompanied our melas earlier in the week. The salmon entr?e was enjoyed too, quality meat and another great salad, smooth creamy drizzle. After a pleasant interval and glass of wine our mains were served, the morrocan barramundi special and the laksa. Outstanding. Portion sizes were more than generous, and the flavours and heat a delight. The sides for the Moroccan fish were a great accompaniment, and I was especially happy with the laksa, some taste more like a thai soup but this was rich and creamy with plenty of curry delicious. We ended up spending a few hours at Eden, and found it a relaxing and fulfilling experience.
