I have eaten at Curly Whiskers on a few occasions and have always had wonderful service and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The lunch and dinner menu are both wonderful. The open kitchen allows the diners to wach the chef passionately prepare their French meals. The friendly staff are very attentive and are always available to suggest a menu item or just have a chat. There are many gluten free items available.
We will most certainly return.

The perfect French escape on our doorstep!
After having tired of countless eateries offering much of the same type of fusion food-often at undeservedly high prices- we finally found a true gem in Curly Whiskers. Upon arrival you feel a welcoming, warm and happy and at the same time extremely professional ambience.
The food is European style, with the emphasis on French- topped by the best Gallettes we have ever tasted outside of France. The Wine selection is superb and the prices very reasonable.
After a few visits our names have been remembered and we have declared Curly Whiskers our favourite local hang out from brunches down to romantic dinners.
The food is lovingly presented on beautiful table ware with loving finishing touches.
Curly Whiskers is an absolute MUST for lovers of food combined with excellent service!

We had dinner last night at Curly Whiskers and the food was sensational. Both my husband and I got the steak frites for main course. It was so tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. It was obvious the food and ingredients were of the highest quality. For dessert we had crepes which again were very tasty.
We loved the layout of the restaurant with its open plan as you are able to watch the chef cook and you are able to interact with the chef. The restaurant is intimate and the service outstanding.
Looking forward to our next meal at Curly Whiskers .

Small intimate setting where Rosalin and the whole team care for each customer and take time to know everyone. Great to watch the chef cook and plate dish in front of you. Plating excellent and magnificent taste!

Fabulous food, so fresh and light
Service was extremely friendly and Silias the chef cooked delicious food . It was fun watching it being cooked as well.

Exceptionally special - an unexpected treasure!

Like eating at a good friends house, but the food is a whole lot better !
Set in a shop front in Martin st, Gardenvale, with an open kitchen and only 6 or so tables, a lovely place for date night.
Service is wonderful , friendly and engaging.
The food is excellent- French bistro style with confit duck, Creme Brûlée and other French classics prepared beautifully. Sauces were wonderful and meat moist and flavoursome.
Will definitely be back.

Fabulous food and atmosphere
Cosy, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and of course great food! Met up with a group of friends for dinner and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the Dory - fish was cooked well and mash was delicious. Sides matched well and showcased fresh seasonal produce. All desserts are divine and we all found it hard to choose! Couldn’t pass up my favorite Tarte Tatin, but was extremely tempted by the new special apple crumble crepe. Will be back soon to give it a try. Thanks for a lovely evening.
