Ciao Cielo is a little gem. Okay, Port Melbourne might not be a food Mecca, but it's well worth a trip out of your way to visit. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired with a strong Italian influence and it's clear that chef Bryan Nelson is going places. The stand-out dish for me was the Beetroot and ricotta ravioli with Moreton Bay bug tails, watercress and truffle butter, at $32 for an exceptional main course pasta dish. The duck arancini starter is a deserved signature dish, too.
