Good as a restaurant but avoid the take away
I used to recommend this restaurant and to bring colleagues and relatives for lunch but I had unresolved issues lately. I have been charged $8.50 to $12.00 for exactly the same take-away depending on who was serving me at the time. I confirmed the price with the owner but still find myself arguing with some of the staff who try to charge more. They are lying through their teeth and this is becoming tiring. I have now decided to avoid the place all together.

The Gem of Traralgon
Not normally one to review, but I feel like this deserves a mention! Firstly absolutely fantastic service, it won't take long before the staff/owners know you by name! The food is beyond mention, enough daring and adventure to intrigue the most avid explorer but with enough heart and care to remind you of the good home cooked meals mum used to make! It's substance that counts with food, and each dish is like a well thought out recipe, hand crafted. Its a quiet retreat from the busy streets where you can relax and unwind. Coffee and Hot Chocolates are to die for and exclusive to the venue! (If anyone knows the recipe to their Hot Chocolate, I will leave my e-mail at the bottom!) Great place. Fun fact, I'm not related to the owners, nor a staff member. I just think it deserves a good review!
