NEW OWNERS. NEW MENU. GREAT FOOD. This place changed hands in April 2016 and is now run by very experienced operators. It's a full service restaurant (full table service) independently owned & operated and not associated with the golf course other than it's in the golf club building.
The food is very good and sharply priced. Certainly not expensive and similar to club & pub prices. There is an outdoor area opening directly from the interior of the restaurant through new bi-fold doors for al-fresco dining overlooking the first tee & practice green & it's a nice place to be.
The food is not your average club food, as they say, and there is a specials board with plenty of choices. Barramundi, scallops, lamb rump, salmon carpaccio & scotch fillet steak all outstanding as is the pork belly..
Good wine list from $6 a glass and icy cold beer on tap fixed our thirst on a very hot day.
Highly recommended.
