Four Star food adventure in Forrest
Fresh and flavour are the two words synonymous with chef Simon Stewart's menu. The cosy dining room has country class and a warmth that radiates, not just from the decor but also from the enthusiastic floor staff. What makes this restaurant special is that they put locals first - not just with the stunning produce Stewart gathers from local producers but because it's still accessible to locals with a price and composition that doesn't overwhelm. The prix fixe menu does however transport you to a very special kind of rural utopia that isnt afraid of making veges the hero. It's like going on an exotic middle eastern adventure but getting to travelling there in the comfort of nanna's lounge room.
