Wellington Caves

To take a step back in time, head to the underground limestone wonderland of Wellington Caves. A short drive from Dubbo, Wellington Caves - also grounds to the Old Phosphate Mine - is an ideal family day out, where visitors are taken into the flood lit caves to wander among the stunning stalactites and stalagmites, making sure to stop at the two magnificent show caves, the Cathedral and the Gaden. If you're up for some cave diving, take to the Water Cave and River Cave - only open to the experienced diving enthusiasts.
