Of my recent honeymoon to the Barossa, Henschke was my most anticipated. It delivered. We were there midweek and really got the most out of the intimate tasting room. At times you forget that you are in one of the stallwards of the Barossa which, in my opinion, blows "grange" out of the water with the "hill of grace", the only reason I say forget that you are in such greatness is because it has such a homely feel, quick the opposite of what one woudl expect at Penfolds. Beautiful vineyard surrounds and standout staff really made this a very, very special visit. note* it's well worth the trip, despite how far it may look on the map.
