Paronella Park and Castle

Paronella Park outside of Innisfail is a unique piece of Australia as it was developed in the 1920s/30s by Spanish immigrant Jose Paronella, an early eco-tourism operator. Visitors are amazed to find amongst the many buildings, North Queenslands first Hydro Electric system, fountains and Castle. Paronella Park is listed with the National Trust and the recipient of many awards. Take a 45 minute guided tour through the highlights of the park and hear the inspiring story Jose Paronella.
