The tourism award winning Skyway Rainforest Cableway offers panoramic views of the lush tropical rainforest, an absolute must for those holidaying in the North Tropics. 7.5 kilometres long, the cableway has two rainforest mid-stations to stop and enjoy the ultimate tropical rainforest experience deep in the forests. Once your journey finishes in Kuranda, explore the many attractions it offers, including koala park, bird aviary and butterfly santuary, alongside a range of shops, markets and eateries. Bookings are recommended to jump aboard Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, so be sure to plan ahead.

Combine this trip with the Scenic Railway for a great day out!! Take the Skyrail up to Kuranda and enjoy lunch at one of the many cafes & restaurants. Pick up some souvenirs at one of the many market stalls before boarding the train for your return journey. The Skyrail has two stops before arriving in Kuranda, make sure you get off at each stop to take a walk through the rainforest and view the spectacular Barron Falls!! A visitor MUST DO!!
