About The Nookery Cafe

Set against an impressive backdrop of Jarrah and Marri forest, The Nookery Café on Metricup Road in Wilyabrup delivers rustic, cosy charm inside and out. Nestled in Woody Nook Wines, this cottage-style café has a shady pergola, an all-weather alfresco patio by the fish pond, and a grassy play area with swings to keep the kids occupied while you sip an estate wine. Enjoy a leisurely meal with family and friends, perhaps starting with gazpacho – chilled tomato soup, with capsicum, onion and cucumber – before mains like Chef Yuri’s housemade potato gnocchi, or linguine with banana prawns, spinach and creamy garlic sauce. Slice your knife into a perfectly cooked Scotch fillet with Cabernet Sauvignon jus and seasonal vegetables, before an indulgent dessert like crema Catalana to finish.

dsmum

I had heard all positive things about the cafe at Woody Nook, so it was a serious letdown when I dined there. I don't understand why the place is so busy when the foods is substandard at best. Not even dessert could save them, overly sweet and the coffee was stone cold. Will definitely not be returning.
