T9, Kareela Village, 1-13 Freya St,,Kareela NSW
So happy that this charming Japanese restaurant has opened up in Kareela. The owner/chef Celine is a delight and always friendly and helpful every visit. The other staff are friendly too. The food is excellent and I can honestly say that the teriyaki chicken sushi rolls help feed my daughter many times per week.
I would recommend this place to everyone. Enjoy a yummy meal that is served with a warm-hearted attitude everytime!
Tantalise your tastebuds with modern Japanese fare at Shikoku Restaurant on Freya Street in Kareela. Located in the newly redeveloped Kareela Village shopping centre, diners are greeted by traditional decor with a brightly coloured mural of a geisha adorning the wall and red stools underneath. Sleek, clean lines throughout are mirrored in the fresh, locally sourced produce on the menu – from sushi to curry and noodle dishes. On offer are must haves such as soft shell crab salad and grilled salmon with avocado; or chow down on Japanese chicken schnitzel with egg, served on a bed of rice. Bento choices like Wagyu beef with mixed tempura, sashimi and miso are sure to tempt along with teriyaki chicken and for a sweet finish try an authentic chestnut manju dessert made from bean paste.
Seafood Sukiyaki: King prawns, squid, mussels, scallops and tofu served with vegetables and noodles.
