What a hidden gem IGNI is. Hidden away in a back ally in Geelong, the unassuming front belies the sumptuous delights within. Grey walls, polished concrete flooring with wood panelled ceiling creates a surprisingly warm and cosy atmosphere. Merrin, our hostess for the evening, brought charm, humour and expert knowledge with every delectable course. The menu, which is only revealed as the courses are delivered to the table are surprising, sumptuous and delightful in equal measure. From the first morsel to the last your pallet will be treated to a culinary journey that will not quickly be forgotten and I suspect will be repeated frequently.
