Kin means family, representing the underlying theme and character of Kin by Us café and coffee house located on the corner of Herring Road and Saunders Close. An industrial vibe suits trendy Sydneysiders with strings of exposed drop lights illuminating slats of polished timber and black steel framed chairs and the sounds of knives on chopping boards can be heard from the other side of an open, island bench kitchen. My Kitchen Rules 2014 contestants Uel and Shanelle use the best of their cooking skills in the Kin by Us kitchen to provide lucky locals a range of sumptuous Asian fusion dishes, inspired by a shared Indonesian and Singaporean heritage. Adventurous eaters may find options such as Congee with chicken rice porridge, onsen egg, pork floss and Chinese doughnut.
