Experience the mouth-watering aromas and tastes of India’s rich and diverse cuisine at Indian Chimney Restaurant on Dean Street in Albury. Hues of red, orange and yellow from the dusky sunset mural on one side of the restaurant create a feeling of immediate warmth, paired with traditional table settings and softly glowing lights. With a focus on North Indian cuisine, the menu tantalises the palate with entrees like masala prawns, cooked in tandoori tikka sauce with capsicum and onion, served with mint chutney. For the main think classics like butter chicken, simmered in rich tomato cream sauce with cashews; or hot and spicy Goan beef vindaloo, topped with green chillies and best enjoyed with basmati rice, raita and pappadums. Cool things down with a dessert of mango kulfi and gulab jamun.

Great vindaloo , nice and hot as it should be. Nice comfortable place, busy but that is the price for good food. I'd go a little early to beat the rush.
