Best Chinese Restaurant On The Coast
From an unassuming shop in Hope Island comes the most exquisite Chinese food. We have been there several times over the years & it is always packed with locals, which obviously say something for the chef. Personally I would have to rate it as the best Chinese restaurant on the coast but at the least the northern end anyway. My wife & I didn’t order & left it up to chef who sent out four main dishes which were made up of two seafood dishes, a beef noodle dish & a vegetable dish & then finished off with some deep fried ice-cream. On the next table arrived an enormous Peking King Duck which was carved with perfection & served like the waitress was trained at the most famous Peking Duck Restaurant in Beijing. I am told if you want the duck you have to pre order as the ducks are bought daily & only enough for that nights order so you know you are getting the freshest & best quality. Five stars for food & also for the wait staff who were ever so friendly.
Love the Peking duck. Salt and pepper prawn is the best. Will be back soon.
