Waited 30 minutes for coffee. Had to Ask for water. Nothing on breakfast menu stated gf or looked appealing.
Really good again. I was happy with my meal - coffee rubbed steak. The meat was excellent, as was the sauce, but I cared little for the coffee rubbing. My mother has not stopped talking about the 12 hour lamb shoulder she had. If the portions were a little smaller but more delicately presented, I would not have complained. Oh and the skordalia was amazing.
Unique Cafe/restaurant that grows its own herbs and prepares its ingredients "in house". Excellent food and coffee and the price is right. As well it's BYO. Definitely worth many visits. I eat there regularly.
Seated at the handsome verandah yards from the beach on a busy Saturday night. BYO made for a boisterous evening all round. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Seared Scallops on Black pudding was beautifully presented with a careful drizzle of sauce. The scallops seared perfectly - soft and sweet with a mild browning top and bottom, complemented with crispy black pudding. The main course a little disappointing after the spectacular opener. In fact, the lamb rack had to be sent back as two of the three cutlets were served raw not rare. However, the staff dealt with it efficiently. Unaware as to whether the dish was charged - if so then the meal was good value, if not, then a little on the high side. All diners in the party said they would go again.
12 Hour lamb shoulder, shitake mushroom and farro ragout, cudgen spinach, madeira sauce.
