What a great little restaurant, service was friendly and vibey and very accommodating. We had the crispy oysters, tea cured salmon and the chicken giblets. My mouth is watering writing this wishing I had some more, it was that good and sooo fresh. The cocktail jug was non-alcoholic frost-fruit by choice(I was there with my 11 yr old boy), and that was great too, he loved it, the flask of sake was awesome too. Will we go again? You bet!

Step into Little red pocket is like stepping into a mini KYOTO JAPAN. The ambiance is very relaxed depending on the night you choose to go, weekends are very busy great place to doll up and head to with the girls, sipping on a Lychee long time will have you feeling like a main star in s*x in the city. Weekdays are chilled, a great place to take your date if you're planning to impress. Furniture is very luxurious, there are a few seating options but most of them allow you to get quite close so again, perfect for dates! The food is definitely impressive, you forget that it is a cocktail bar first and foremost. Crispy oysters were definitely impressive, thin crispy wafers of filo pastry wrapped around a fresh oyster and a dab of wasabi mayo to finish. Divine. The tempura prawns were also delicious, alot crispier and lighter than most i've had before. Again, you seem to forget that you're in a cocktail bar! Who knew such a hidden gem was located so centrally in Melbourne? Ranked on World's best bars TOP 100 bars list after being open for only 4 months? I won't be surprised if they don't stay hidden for long.
