One of the best Indian restaurant in the area. Hard to find but worth it.

PJ

As a weekly dining out group that patronises restaurants in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne every Friday night, we were most impressed with the food and the service. We will return as we would regard this resataurant among the best on our quite long list. The waiter was very helpful with suggested dishes for sharing by the group and all the dishes were high quality, well presented and served in an apprpriate sequence. We also appreciated the welcoming of BYO and the very reasonable corkage - we like to take some bottles of our own to restaurants and are glad to patronise the increasing number of restaurants that respect our wishes in this regard without sniffy comments about being preapred to allow a 'special' bottle! _ Peter Johnstone (for FNG)

We've been to Bhoj many times and it never fails to impress. The food is alway great and really good value.

My husband and I have been to dozens + dozens (that's no exaggeration!) of Indian restaurants, and we're usually met with "okay" meals - with a single good flavour. But not at Bhoj! I'm happy to report that this is one of the few Indian restaurants we've been to that dish up more complex 'flavours' in their meals; I suppose I like that because it seems more 'authentic' - and more likely the meals are really hand-made and fresh! The atmostphere is really good for an Indian restaurant in this price range; and we're always met with a very friendly staff member - always smiling! Consistant good food + good value = Easily one of Melbourne's better Indian spots!

If you didn't know where they're located, you might be tempted to eat at the other 2 Indian restaurants around the corner on the way there....don't do it. Go to Bhoj :)
