About Bootleg Brewery
HEAD BREWER: MICHAEL BROOKES: Starting at Bootleg Brewery as a home-brewing bartender in 1998, “Brookesy” quickly displayed an interest for the more technical side of beer. When presented with the opportunity, he progressed through our brewing team ranks to learn the art of craft brewing, and soon took on the role of head brewer when it came available. Bootleg Brewery Margaret River produces a wide range of award winning beers. Including our most popular Wils Pils - Winner of "Best Australasian Draught Lager" at the Australian International Beer Awards ('02) to our full bodied "Gold Medal" Award winning Raging Bull.
