About Stonebar Seafood Brasserie
With its prime riverfront location opposite the ferry wharf, Stonebar Seafood Brasserie is a much welcome sight in Meadowbank. Ideal for a quick coffee or a lingering meal, this restaurant in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs delivers food and service with polish in stylish surrounds that spill out to a relaxed alfresco terrace. The menu changes regularly but, as the restaurant’s name suggests, fresh seafood is always on offer and presented to impress – perhaps as assorted seafood tapas, or whole lobster cooked three ways. Seafood lovers don’t have all the fun, though; there are plenty of other options to choose from, like goat’s cheese soufflé or duck served with steamed asparagus and mash.

I found this place after buying an internet group buy voucher and have been back twice since paying full price. The platter is brilliant and one of the best baby octopus I have eaten in a long time and the heloumi starter re kindled my love for the cheese.
