Pizzas great, pastas brilliant.
First went when we heard about the great pizzas. We are now regulars but are always torn between the great pizzas and the brilliant pastas - so we usually have both. The staff are superb.

We Would Travel For MILES To Eat Here. Fortunately, It Is Almost NexT Door!
We have made this our Date Night Destination of choice for a few years now. The owner (Joel) is justifiably proud of his restaurant. The chef (Brandon) is a genius. The pizza maker (Cassandra) is awesome. This place is ALWAYS crowded with people who know where to find quality food. Monte's produces in excess of 500 pizzas on an average night, indicative of the demand created by quality food. Not only are there traditional pizzas, though, there are gourmet pizzas, the most delicious pastas, and also fantastic desserts. If you have not yet been to Monte's, you are missing out on something special. REMEMBER TO BOOK!

Great pizza, great service
I grew up in Leichhardt, the pizza capital of Sydney and Montes does it just as well if not better.

Best pizza in Sydney, absolutely love this place

Went here with friends who are fans and became fans ourselves! The service was great, staff were all friendly and atmosphere was comfortable. Most importantly the food was AMAZING! Best pizza and pasta we have had in a long time! And the desserts were mouthwateringly good, better than anything you get at an expensive place in Sydney city! We don't live locally but will be making the 40min trip again soon for sure! :-)

Since moving to the Mountains 13 years ago we tried the local take-aways occasionally, to find our favourite. Since trying Monte's we have never looked back. We began Dining In, after their Alfresco addition and now can't seem to stay away. We dine with family, friends and neighbours and are always amazed by the taste of all the food. Of course we did have our favourite pizza, but we have been amazed by the flavour of so many other dishes they offer. The Salads are bursting with flavour and the New Winter Salad of Roasted Vegetables is absolutely scrumptious. The Bruschetta Pizza is the Best I've ever tried. Also, let's not forget the desserts and the Coffees, my Toblerone Chocolate Mousse was amazing. A lovely finish to a great meal. Try it, I'm sure you'll agree.

My family, friends, extended family, work colleagues, neighbours and I have been huge fans of Montes pizza for years... long before it became one of the best restaurants in the mountains! Ever since the transformation to a dine in restaurant – we can’t seem to stay away!

The pizza is fantastic, everything else is just a bonus.... extremely friendly staff, a wonderful atmosphere, trendy decor and if you are lucky enough to have picked a Friday night, live music.

Joel, Monte and the team do a great job of making us feel welcome and at home every time we visit.

Special mention has to go to the Joeliana Pizza, Bruscetta Pizza, Chicken in a Basket and the Dessert Pizza – all favourites of ours.

Would recommend to all looking for not only a lovely meal but a great night out!

This place is a Mountains institution this is the only place we have been getting pizza for the last 15 years, the whole family loves the place. The tranformation in the last twelve months has only made it better (but harder to get a table at so make sure you book). Whether you want traditional, Gourmet or one of the salads they are all pretty good. We often stop in late just for homemade dessert and coffee.
