Excellent, well balanced meal with beautiful wine list. Thank you for a lovely evening.
An absolute gem. We ate here for both dinner and breakfast and could not fault it. We ended up dinning here both nights of our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
After discovering this restaurant on AGFG we were excited to try it out. Visiting Launceston during a cold snap meant we walked in out of the cold to a lovely warm inviting environment inside the restaurant. Beautifully furnished with loads of character. There was lovely space between the tables giving us privacy. All our waitresses were lovely and seemed genuinely happy to be there and to tend to us. Our meals were served promptly and they were well presented and tasted delicious. I had the herb crusted salmon whilst my husband had a steak meal. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and would go back ourselves if we are back in town again.

We'll presented, tasty and full of flavour, attentive staff.
Really good taste at good price and good service, which made us feel like at home. The seafood is very fresh and the dessert is very amazing, sweet to my heart.
If you ask to recommend one restaurant in Australia, I will fully support this one.
Experience sumptuous modern European cuisine in Launceston at Larceny Restaurant, tucked inside the Clarion City Park Grand Hotel. Step inside a romantically set dining room, where an open fireplace, red carpets and dark timber furnishings tie in with a rustic inspired colour scheme of deep reds, greens and beige to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. A modern European style menu offers dishes like pan roasted Moreton Bay bug with lemon, chilli and vodka risotto, a tasty appetiser to enjoy before Tasmanian Wild Clover lamb rump served with potato and garlic puree with a baby beetroot, port and thyme reduction. Room for a sweet finish is to be spared, with desserts like the Larceny baked cheesecake with a berry compote, roast strawberry and Cointreau ice cream.
Herb crusted Atlantic salmon with crushed potato cake, asparagus, baby spinach and a lemon beurre blanc.
Set in the heritage listed Clarion City Park Grand Larceny restaurant serves fresh local Tasmanian produce with a European style menu.
