About Berowra Waters Inn

Imagine a fine dining restaurant that is only accessible by water, has been redesigned several times and still maintains a Chef Hat 43 years after it was first awarded. Welcome to the Berowra Waters Inn on Calabash Point in Sydney where Executive Chef and owner Brian Geraghty delivers food to take your breath away along with water views that have to be seen to be believed. Originally described as a ‘verandah by the water’, this restaurant dishes up a degustation menu with temptations like bonito, banksia and wasabi, enjoyed with a glass of Clare Valley Riesling. For the main, think duck, cherry and mustard accompanied by a Derwent Valley Pinot Noir; or snapper, prawn and desert lime with a Chardonnay. Desserts like fig, pistachio and vanilla make for the ideal end to your memorable meal.

Wish we could eat here all the time. Berowra is always lovely, but the new chef has really taken it to new levels. In 25 years of on and off visiting, our opinion is that Berowra is better than it has ever been. Its a big call, but we now put it as one of Sydney's very best - and yes, that includes Quay.

One of my three favourite dining experiences in Australia, the others being Songbirds Mt Tambourine & Nautilus in Port Douglas. (We eat out quite frequently). A beautiful spot on the river with exceptional service & food. The separate vegetarian menu was well thought out & everything I had was delicious. Value was good for what it was. I will return.
