Beautiful location fantastic food. Love their breakfast a great way to start your day. Love the Cellar door just wish they would consider opening this in the evening for a less expensive and more casual option to the restaurant. All in all a 5 stars for location, food, atmosphere and staff.
I have been to Sirromet on many occasions and the food is always at a very high standard. The views from the restaurant overlooking the vineyards and surrounding hills is beautiful. My fiance and I enjoy the food and atmosphere so much we got engaged there on our 6 month anniversary after a great lunch and are getting married there in October this year. The staff are always interested in providing advice and going through the menu - amazing seafood.
We visited Sirromet Winery for a girls day out for a birthday celebration, and upon arrival we were all very impressed with the beautiful surroundings, and the restaurant itself is quite modern, with a classic touch. The view from our balcony table was lovely, looking out at the vinyard and lawns. The service was great, we had a friendly fun waiter who was more than happy to talk about the menu and explain which wine would go best with each meal. The food was of a very high level, and i can definitely recommend the caesar salad and starter with the various seafoods, it was to die for! The waiter offered us some wine samples as well, and we thought it was a fun place for a girls lunch, we definitely recommend it!
Best meal ever - highly recommend the seafood specials, which change daily. The dessert was also fantastic. A little pricey but definitely worth it!
I had my wedding at Sirromet in February of this year and would highly reccomend their food, wine and scenery. All of my guests commented on how fabulous the food was.
I would not however reccomend the customer service of the function coordinators, I believe their communication skills and attention to detail need to be improved considerably.
If this was improved I would highy reccomend this venue to engaged couples looking for a venue for their special day.
