Wanted to go to this restaurant since 2007. It didn’t disappoint.
My wife didn’t like the old Japanese decor but she definitely appreciated the food. When you have 10 courses and all above 7 out of 10 with a good wine pairing selection how can you go wrong.

I have to tell you service and food to die for. Wine pairing was perfect, have to say could not have found one thing wrong save your $$$ it is worth a visit

Writing about my experience at Tetsuya's does not cut it. It's one of those things in life where you have to be there and experience the gastronomic delights, the unparalleled service, the beautiful surrounds. This is one restaurant where I believe the value of the food, service and setting matched the money value. I loved that Tetsuya himself came out and greeted every table. I've been to quite a few 3-hatted restaurants and they don't equal Tetsuya's at all. I believe Tetsuya's should be a 3-hatted restaurant.

This was the most incredible experience not only for food but for the senses I have ever had. My boyfriend surprised me with a night out for our anniversary by taking me here. The moment we came down the driveway I knew exactly where we were. We were greeted with smiles by two friendly men opening double doors into the foyer and taken through the wide and gorgeously decorated halls to our table. From the moment we got to the restaurant to the moment we left we were looked after with the highest level of service coupled with radiant smiles. The atmosphere the small dining room offers with its art on the walls and the perfect amount of lighting complements the stunningly designed garden that you spend half the night in a trance looking at. It makes you feel like you have travelled to Japan to have dinner. The food was absolutely out of this world. My partner is normally quite fussy and opposed to raw food but he ate every mouthful. Tetsuya has a way of perfectly balancing flavour, texture, presentation and portion to make each plate a masterpiece of art that satisfies all senses and desires. I have no doubt that the food I ate this night will be the best I ever eat. The touch of providing a personalized menu for each table was the icing on the cake and a keepsake for the memory box.

Had the most amazing food and wine experience. This restaurant has it all and I recommend it to anyone who loves food.

A restaurant named after the chef would present itself to live up to its name if the chef were to be seen. I would have liked Tetsuya to have served me at least 1 of the courses, for all I know, he didn't cook the food. Our visit was at lunch, so cannot comment on the ambience but the presentation of the dining room was impressive. I noticed 3 seperate dining areas, which created a certain level of exclusivity and privacy instead of restaurants with 1 big dining area where everyone can see everybody else. We were seated right next to the rear garden, the view was rather static, not much moving water and the pond was too shallow to have any fish. For much of teh 2 hours I spent sitting there, I thought to myself I'm looking at the same thing, after 20 minutes of sitting there the garden view appeal wore off. Funishing was modern and elegent to the eyes, there was a valet service and 5 star looking hotel staff. Our departer was not met with a gift, which was a bit dissapointing.

Absolutely incredible experience! I will definitely be back. Unforgettable atmosphere, service and food. Tetsuya is not a chef; he's an artist.

The most amazing experience.
I ate here a couple of years ago but despite the high cost (4 people, $1200) I think I would come back here for a very special occasion.
The dinner I had here is one of the most memorable in my life. It was 4 hours of bliss and the service is the best I've ever had.

This really deserves to be in the Top 10 restaurants in the world.

The service and attention to detail is always outstanding.

There is always an old favourite dish with a refined twist whenever I return.

It is always a treat to return and be greeted by familiar faces and settle in for a gastronomic adventure.
