Markets in Queensland

Where are some of Queensland's best markets?

Australia’s biggest art, craft and produce market is that of the Eumundi Markets, home to a whopping 500 plus stalls, open for business every Wednesday and Saturday in the charming Queensland hinterland town of Eumundi. Here you can spend hours upon hours wandering the rows of toys, second hand goods, clothes and delicious produce while being entertained with singing, music and street performances. Brisbane’s Young Designer markets are held in the bustling hub of Southbank on the first Saturday of every month, showcasing a variety of unique clothes, handicrafts and artwork from local designers and artists, very similar to the Valley Markets, held in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, run every weekend. If you’re looking for fresh produce and enough room to walk comfortably around, head to the Gold Coast’s markets, held in Carrara, Broadbeach and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
