d’Arenberg The Dead Arm Shiraz 2001

Information & Tasting Notes

"Long, silky, ropey tannins. A touch of alcohol and plums and all things ripe. Oak (resiny, chocolatey and warm) is evident too - as is a flood of cascading fruit - and as the wine sits in the glass the oak falls away and the spiciness of the fruit pushes more and more promisingly forward. This is a cracking wine, full of power and long, rafting, sweet tannins." Drink: 2005-2017.
